Joshua currently serves as assistant professor and director of theatre for McNeese State University, where he recruits, teaches, directs, advises, builds and balances the budget for the theatre department.

Joshua previously taught for Baton Rouge Community College where he served as an adjunct teaching theatre courses.

As an educator, Joshua is a champion for students and their well-being, that includes finding work. His pedagogy is steeped in the Meisner Technique with an emphasis on the day-dreaming and imagination work. Nothing makes him happier than watching students achieve things they didn’t think was possible. He loves the theatre and finds joy in showing up, even on the hard days, to do the work.
